Report finds that many hospital errors go unreported

According to the Federal Department of Health and Human Services, hospital employees recognize many harmful errors that occur at their place of work but only report an alarming 1 out of 7 of them.

In the report instances events such as medication errors, severe bedsores, infections that patients acquire in hospitals, delirium resulting from overuse of painkillers and excessive bleeding linked to improper use of blood thinners happened many times.

Sometimes the wrong doings are reported, but this is still not right.
